Diversity & Values

Diversity

Considering the diversity of our employees, customers and stakeholders is essential to the way we work. We feel inclusive practices open the doors to innovation and make for a more collaborative environment – which is where our best ideas come from.

“Diversity awareness also improves our ability to understand and respond to our diverse customer needs.”

We have a distinctive culture where our employees are supported and respected, treated fairly, listened to and involved. We look for people who share our values. Our business thrives on difference. People here come from different backgrounds and take on a variety of roles, but they’re all working towards the same goal of delivering innovative solutions and exceptional customer service.

We are committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment in which our employees can achieve their full potential and have opportunities for development. We have developed policies for the recruitment, training and development of our people, and remain committed to investing time and resources to support, engage and motivate them to feel valued and aide retention.

Company Values

Our values represent what we hold important and true and were born out of full consultation and feedback from the Cadline team. Our values underpin everything we do and we are all committed to:

  • Integrity

Building trust in all interactions by displaying high standards consistently and always delivering on promises. Being honest with colleagues, customers and all others with whom we come into contact. Welcoming and giving constructive feedback as we seek to continuously improve both ourselves and others.

  • Teamwork

Recognising that if we work together we can achieve more than if we work on our own and will be quick to offer help to our colleagues. Working hard to develop and maintain excellent relationships both internally and externally. Recognising that we are all different and will display tolerance and adaptability in all that we do.

  • Expertise

Acknowledging that our success is built upon our expertise and that we will extend and develop ourselves at every opportunity. Making the most of our knowledge and skills by actively applying them in our work. Embracing the changing world in which we live and welcome new ways of working and learning.

  • Passion

Caring about our customers and seeking to enable them to be the best that they can be. Being passionate about our company and being committed to delivering the highest possible standards in our industry. Bringing energy and enthusiasm to our work and always striving to exceed expectation

Charity Support

Cadline is committed to supporting a varied and far reaching range of charities. Below is an update on current projects

  • Great Ormond Street Hospital

Great Ormond Street Hospital is close to our hearts and we have supported this charity for the last four years. Last month we purchased a syringe pump for £1,500 which provide accurate and continuous pain relief in critical medical care. There is a Trust wide shortage and the life span of a pump is 8-10 years.

  • Two St Lucian boys in the wreckage of their home after the devastation of Hurricane Tomas

    St Lucia

We sent a container to St Lucia filled with adult and children’s clothes, footwear, towels, toys, games, books, writing materials etc. Andy West reconditioned some redundant Cadline computers and these were sent to a school in a deprived area along with some of the old training monitors. Thank you to everyone who has donated.

Sri Lanka

Along with two other donors we are paying for a boy to have life saving surgery in Sri Lanka. Sandaruwan is a 12 year old boy with a fatal spine condition. Without surgery his lungs will collapse within the next 10 to 15 years, leading to certain death. If the surgery is successful he will be able to lead a more or less normal life. The surgeon we have chosen is the medical lead in Sri Lanka, and has undertaken more than 300 such operations with 100% success rate. This complicated, 6 hour long procedure is scheduled for 9th October and the cost of the operation is USD 16,000.

Voice of a Woman

Is a charity that we have helped to establish in the UK that addresses a range of educational issues. The YLSR’s Youth Leadership Training Program was launched in 2010 at The South African High Commission in Trafalgar Square and helps to engage youth in socially responsible projects; the current project supported concerns sex trafficking. Nelson Mandela offered his support to this charity and Maureen O’Bryan, the charity founder, was invited to spend a day at his home in Johannesburg.

We supported, along with The University of Westminster, the launch of the VOW Mentoring Programme at The National Portrait Gallery in July this year. This program introduces inspirational business women, as mentors, to young women starting their further education and careers.
